Small Employer Membership​

As an employer with 10 or fewer employees, you are eligible for our small employer​ membership at an annual rate of $925, which includes:

  • Ten hours per year of expert on-call and personalized assistance in governmental regulations, human resources, labor relations and management development through your personal Employers Council staff member
  • Access to the members-only section of the Employers Council website, which includes instant access to all the news, resources and practical tools you can use
  • Access to training in the areas of professional development, human resources, management and leadership, technology, and legal compliance


Members access consultation, services, and resources in several ways: 
  • Legal and HR consultation are available for immediate needs during business hours by calling our office near you or 800.884.1328. ​
  • A staff representative is assigned to each member. This representative helps navigate our various services and resources for both immediate and long-term needs. 
  • The members-only portal gives access to valuable information including tools, white papers, forms, sample policies, and legal summaries. Members may designate multiple employees to receive login credentials and access the portal. 
  • The member’s online profile enables selection of various publications to stay current on specific areas of interest.​

The workplace has become more complex over time. As the needs of our members grew we added services, expertise, and resources. We provide complete solutions for issues that arise in the employment arena. Our staff includes employment attorneys, human resource professionals, payroll and compensation specialists, organization and team development practitioners, workplace coaches, investigators, facilitators, and survey data specialists. We encourage members to consider us their HR partner and call us first.
Our service solutions address all aspects of the employer/employee relationship. Membership includes consultation from attorneys and HR professionals, online resources and tools, and timely publications and communications. Consulting, reviewing, or advising a member is included within dues services. If an issue requires additional services, we can complement our dues consultation with additional for-fee projects, available exclusively to members, at or below market rates.

Membership dues are based on the employer’s payroll and offered on a sliding scale, making membership affordable to organizations regardless of size. In addition, we have special memberships for organizations with 10 or fewer employees and employers accessing our services from multiple locations. Joining is a simple process. Employers Council just requires a completed application and dues payment.  

First, we determine which membership is the right fit and calculate the appropriate annual dues.  Click on Join Us to begin the application process. 
  • Once we’ve received a completed application and dues payment, membership is activated within 24 business hours.  
  • Per the application, all authorized employees will receive member portal login credentials. 
  • A staff representative will be assigned and will contact the new member.
