Deciding whether to transition to a supervisory role is not always easy. Supervision: Is It For Me? gives participants  the opportunity to clarify whether a supervisory role would be ideal for them. The class is designed for those considering a supervisory career and highlights changes that often go along with a promotion to supervision. This is an interactive class in which participants focus on the differences between non-supervisory and supervisory roles, complete  a personal self-assessment and explore their own interest and alignment with the role.

Outcome

Explore the skills and expectations of a supervisor
Look at legal obligations
Assess current skills to support a transition
Identify what support to seek in the new role

Who Should Attend

Non-supervisory personnel wishing to clarify their understanding  of a supervisor’s role and assess their interest in pursuing a career in supervision. Current supervisors should attend Supervision: Your First 90 Days or Supervision Core Competencies: Meeting the Needs of Today’s Employees.
