Bulletin,  COVID-19,  Employers Council In the News

Employers Council is working hard to keep you up to date on COVID-19 news and resources. To that end, we have created a dedicated Coronavirus resource page on our website. On that page, you can find articles, FYI’s, sample forms, and more. Additionally, to ensure the health and safety of your team and our trainers, we’ve gone to virtual training. Through at least April, classes will be conducted digitally when possible. Click here for more information and to see courses you can attend virtually.

On a local level, Arizona Governor Ducey issued an Executive Order for non-essential workers to stay in place through April 30, 2020. Utah Governor Gary Herbert announced a state-wide “Stay Safe, Stay Home” directive to “establish minimum state-wide standards” for how individuals and businesses should respond to the coronavirus pandemic but has not yet issued any Executive Orders. Colorado’s stay in place Executive Order originally stated it would end April 11, 2020, but Governor Polis is signaling the Order will be extended through April 30, 2020. An announcement is expected in the next few days. While Wyoming has not issued any state-wide orders yet, cities and towns may be soon.

Employers Council staff is working remotely and are continuing to support members. Please call or email us with your questions.
