At some point in our professional careers, virtually everyone is handed a project to manage. However, few have had the luxury of receiving formal training to support project success. Learning the fundamentals of project management can be what differentiates career-making from career-breaking projects. There are a number of different Project Management methodologies but this series will take a "general overview" approach to Project Management. Topics covered in this program will include: Identifying projects that need managing, drafting a project charter, estimating timelines, negotiations and communications involved in a successful project, measuring and tracking project progress, handling change and other “people” problems, managing a project manager, and important items to consider in completing the project.
