Human resource professionals, managers, and supervisors are often called upon to resolve workplace conflicts. This class will provide the skills needed to recognize when conflicts are escalating. Participants will learn how to de-escalate and navigate the conflict by practicing specific communication skills to help peers and direct reports work together more harmoniously. Participants will also share and receive feedback in verbal and non verbal skills that produce positive results.
- Identify common sources of conflict in the workplace and discuss when and how to intervene
- Focus on how to respond to conflict to develop skills
- Using a conflict facilitation model, provide opportunities for participants to build skills by practicing and receiving feedback on their skills in addressing conflict
